The AirTAC GFR400C15AF2TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15AF2TK is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This size 400 unit has a 1/2 in NPT port, a 40 um standard filter element, an automatic drain and an embedded square gauge reading in psi. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and a reverse/check valve is fitted. The polycarbonate bowl suits non-freezing compressed air from -5 to 70 C, and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is made in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and can be ordered with manual or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), G or NPT threads in place of the PT standard, alternative gauge scales or no gauge. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm figures from the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use conditioning ahead of the pneumatic cylinders on a bottling line: the 40 um element strips water and pipe scale while the regulator holds a steady supply pressure to the actuators, and the check valve protects the downstream setting from supply dips.
Conditioning the air feed to conveyor stop-and-divert cylinders on a distribution line: filtered, regulated air at the drop, with the automatic drain keeping the bowl clear of condensate without daily attention.
A wall-mounted drop in a plant maintenance workshop: the included bracket mounts the unit at the point of use, the square psi gauge gives a direct pressure readout for setting hand tools and clamps, and the 1/2 in port feeds higher-draw drops.
Choose the size by port and flow: this size 400 unit carries a 1/2 in port, one step up from 3/8 in and one down from 3/4 in. The decodable choices on this family are the drain (automatic here; manual and differential-pressure are catalogue options), the element grade (40 um standard, 5 um with code W), the gauge (embedded square here, reading psi; an external round gauge and MPa or bar scales are options) and the thread (NPT here; PT is the AirTAC standard and G is also available to order). A reverse/check valve is fitted on this code and the mounting bracket is included.
Flow for the GFR400 series is published as curves, not a single rated number, so we cannot honestly quote a figure here. Send us your application conditions and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number on the page. Tell us your application conditions and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet curves on request.
The A in the code specifies an automatic drain, which expels collected condensate from the bowl without daily attention. Manual and differential-pressure drains are also catalogue options on the GFR series if you would prefer a different code.
