GFR600C25MJC2 AirTAC Filter Regulator 1 in PT

The AirTAC GFR600C25MJC2 AirTAC Filter Regulator 1 in PT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.

About the GFR600C25MJC2 AirTAC Filter Regulator 1 in PT

The GFR600C25MJC2 is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure in a single body. This 600-size unit comes with a PT1 (1 in) port, a manual drain, the standard 40 um filter element, an external round gauge scaled in psi, and no mounting bracket. The bowl on this size is aluminium alloy, and the standard regulator covers 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with the manual-drain version.

This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and can be ordered with automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um (W) element, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, a bracket, an embedded square gauge, and a reverse/check valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

GFR600G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range.
C2Port size See datasheet. This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1".
(blank)Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)).
(blank)Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type.
(blank)Mounting bracket included.
(blank)Pressure gauge fitted (blank).
(blank)Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square.
(blank)Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
(blank)Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
(blank)PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.

A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Where the GFR600C25MJC2 AirTAC Filter Regulator 1 in PT Is Used

factory

Machining shop main-line drop

Mounted at a 1 in main-air drop feeding a CNC machining cell, it strips water and scale from the shop supply and lets the cell set its own regulated pressure regardless of header swings.

conveyor_belt

Packaging line cylinder supply

On carton-sealing and palletizing lines running large-bore air cylinders, it cleans the incoming air and holds a steady setting so clamp and push strokes stay consistent through the shift.

valve

Bottling line valve manifold

Feeding the valve manifold of a bottling or filling line, it removes condensate before it reaches the valves and gives the line a single regulated pressure set at the gauge.

Is the GFR600C25MJC2 AirTAC Filter Regulator 1 in PT the Right Unit?

Size and port step up together: 200 through 600, with this unit at the top of the range on a 1 in PT port for the largest air demand. Drain choice matters: manual (this unit) needs periodic draining by hand, while automatic and differential-pressure drains handle condensate in line - and the manual-drain version carries the wider 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) setting range. Filter grade is 40 um standard; order the W code for 5 um on finer particulate. Gauges are the embedded square type or this external round gauge, scaled in MPa, psi or bar. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options, and brackets are optional. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (See datasheet here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Thread PT, G (BSPP) or NPT
  • ✓ Oil needed downstream? Use GFC instead

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Mount vertically, bowl down, following the airflow arrow.
  • check One body does the filtering and the regulating — no separate regulator needed.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills.
  • check Keep the unit above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.

GFR600C25MJC2 AirTAC Filter Regulator 1 in PT FAQ

AirTAC publishes flow for this family as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number on the page. Tell us your line pressure, downstream demand and allowable pressure drop, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.

A manual drain means condensate is drained by hand on a schedule, which suits a unit mounted where an operator passes regularly. It also supports the wider 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) setting range. If the unit will be hard to reach, the automatic or differential-pressure drain versions are the better choice.
