About the Airtac ACPD Double Rod Compact Cylinder ACPD100X45SB
This is a double acting compact cylinder with a rod leaving both covers, so the 100 mm bore delivers 3681.6 N at 0.5 MPa (5154.2 N at 0.7 MPa) in either direction - both strokes work on the rod-side area. The 25 mm through-rod resists rotation and side load, gives a symmetric mount, and the rear rod can carry a sensor flag. A fixed TPU bumper sits at each end, and speed runs 30-500 mm/s at 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi).
The hard-anodized aluminium body follows the ISO 21287 short format, cutting roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder - useful in wide gantries and heavy press fixtures where length is scarce.
