About the Airtac ACPD Double Rod Compact Cylinder ACPD40X35SB
A double acting compact cylinder with a rod leaving both covers, the ACPD40X35SB pushes and pulls with identical force because each stroke works on the rod-side area: 571.8 N at 0.5 MPa and 800.5 N at 0.7 MPa in either direction. The 12 mm through-rod resists rotation and side load, gives a symmetric mounting face, and the rear rod can carry a sensor flag. A fixed TPU bumper sits at both ends, and the male rod thread (B code) suits knuckle and tooling attachments directly.
The hard-anodized aluminium body follows the ISO 21287 short format, trimming roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight jigs, guards and gantries. This model carries the optional -S magnet, so CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches can be clamped on for end-position sensing.
