About the Airtac ACED Double-acting Compact Cylinder ACED40X25
A double acting compact cylinder built to ISO 21287, the ACED40X25 pushes a 40 mm bore through a 25 mm stroke with a rod leaving BOTH covers, so thrust is identical on every stroke: 571.8 N at 0.5 MPa and 800.5 N at 0.7 MPa either way. The through-rod resists rotation and modest side load, and its rear end doubles as a mounting point for a sensor flag. Air supply is 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi), speed range 30-500 mm/s, with a fixed TPU bumper at each end to soften the stroke.
The hard-anodized aluminium body with a burnished bore pairs with an S45C hard-chrome rod for long service life, and the short ISO 21287 frame saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight guarding and fixture plates.
