About the Airtac ACPD Double Rod Compact Cylinder ACPD63X110S
A double acting compact cylinder with a rod leaving both covers, the ACPD63X110S pushes 1458.1 N and pulls 1458.1 N at 0.5 MPa because each stroke works on the rod-side area of its 63 mm bore. The through-rod resists rotation and light side load, gives a symmetric mounting face, and the rear rod can carry a sensor flag, while fixed TPU bumpers decelerate the piston at each end. This model carries the optional -S magnet, so CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches mount directly on the hard-anodized aluminium body.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is why it suits tight jigs, guards and gantries. At 0.7 MPa the output rises to 2041.3 N in both directions, and the rod-side rating tops out at 297.4 kgf at 1.0 MPa. As a rule of thumb, plan on about 89 kg of vertical lift capability at 0.5 MPa with a 2:1 margin, so match it against real part weights before specifying. Note that this ACPD model is discontinued: the current-production drop-in is ACED63X110, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.

Because a plain double-rod cylinder drifts when air is lost, add a rod lock or pilot check valve if the load must be held.
