About the Airtac ACPD Double Rod Compact Cylinder ACPD63X125S
A double acting, double-rod compact cylinder built to the DIN-standard ACP pattern, the ACPD63X125S pushes and pulls with identical output because a 16 mm rod exits both covers and both strokes work on the rod-side area: 1458.1 N at 0.5 MPa and 2041.3 N at 0.7 MPa in either direction. The 63 mm bore runs on 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi) at 30-500 mm/s, with a fixed TPU bumper at each end and 1/8" ports. The S code means the optional -S magnet is fitted, so CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches can be clipped on for end-of-stroke sensing.
The hard-anodized aluminium body with an S45C hard-chrome rod keeps the short ISO 21287-class footprint, saving roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder - useful in tight gantries and fixture plates. The through-rod resists rotation and side load and gives a symmetric mount, and the rear rod can carry a sensor flag. Plan on about 875 N of real work at 0.5 MPa (roughly 89 kg of vertical lift with margin), not the full rating.
