The AirTAC SC160X1200S is a heavy-duty double-acting tie-rod cylinder delivering 10053 N of push force at 0.5 MPa and up to 18095 N at 0.9 MPa. Its 40 mm diameter piston rod and 29 mm adjustable air cushion at each end manage high-inertia loads smoothly across a 1200 mm stroke.

This model includes a built-in magnet (-S suffix), allowing CMSG, DMSG, or EMSG reed and solid-state sensors to clamp directly onto the barrel for non-contact position sensing. The body length A is 239 mm, giving a total extended length of approximately 1439 mm. Operating pressure is 0.15–1.0 MPa with TPU seals rated for -20 to +70 °C.

For a 160 mm bore, the SC160 provides 10053 N push at 0.5 MPa. If your load requires less force, stepping down to the SC125 bore (6136 N at 0.5 MPa) can reduce air consumption and physical size. For higher force, the SC200 bore offers 15708 N at the same pressure.
