The AirTAC AirTAC GL400-10 Lubricator (GL40010) is a genuine G-series air lubricator. It meters an oil mist into the compressed-air line so cylinders, valves and air tools downstream stay lubricated, with PT3/8" ports and a pc oil bowl. A lubricator does not filter or regulate — it goes last in the line, after the filter and the regulator.
The AirTAC GL40010 is a G-series air line lubricator: it adds a controlled oil mist to the compressed air supply so downstream pneumatic cylinders, valves and air tools receive lubrication. It performs lubrication only - there is no filtration and no pressure regulation in this unit. This size 400 configuration carries a PT3/8 port, a polycarbonate bowl, and a mounting bracket as standard. Maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The G-series lubricator line spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, so you can step port size up or down as your air line demands. Thread options (PT standard, G and NPT as catalogue options) and the bracket can be selected at order time. Published flow data appears as curves rather than a single rated figure; ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. A lubricator has no drain, no regulating mechanism, no gauge and no filter element, so none of those figures apply. Oil grade, bowl capacity, flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GL400 | G-series air lubricator, 400 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
The lubricator has the shortest code of the six G-series subfamilies — size, port, bracket, thread. There is no drain, pressure-type, gauge or filtering-grade position. Example: GL300-10JG is a 300 body, PT3/8", no bracket, G (BSPP) thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GL600 uses an aluminium-alloy oil bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed ahead of a solenoid valve manifold on an automated machine, the GL40010 keeps a light oil mist in the supply air so spool valves and actuators run with consistent lubrication over long production shifts.
On a manual assembly bench running impact drivers, nut runners and ratchets from a 3/8-inch drops line, this lubricator meters oil into the air so tool motors and vanes are continuously lubricated during use.
Feeding the pneumatic cylinders that drive pushers and diverters on a packaging conveyor line, the lubricator delivers oil mist to extend seal and barrel life in continuous duty.
Choose the size 400 / PT3/8 step when your line flow sits between what the 300 and 600 frames serve; going one size up reduces pressure drop across the lubricator. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT available as catalogue options - pick the one matching your piping. A mounting bracket is included on this model; order the J suffix if you do not need one.
Flow for this series is published as curves, not a single rated number, so send us your flow and pressure conditions and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The oil mist travels downstream, so if any branch of the line must stay oil-free, take that branch off before the lubricator. We will confirm the recommended oil grade from the factory datasheet on request.
AirTAC publishes lubricator performance as flow curves rather than a single rated flow figure, so there is no one number to quote. Tell us your line pressure and required flow, and we will confirm the correct size from the datasheet on request before you order.
The GL40010 includes a mounting bracket as standard; if your panel or manifold does not need one, choose the GL40010J variant. Thread is PT as the standard; G (BSPP) and NPT are catalogue options - order the suffix that matches your existing piping.
