The AirTAC Airtac GL Lubricator GL400C10J is a genuine G-series air lubricator. It meters an oil mist into the compressed-air line so cylinders, valves and air tools downstream stay lubricated, with See datasheet ports and a pc oil bowl. A lubricator does not filter or regulate — it goes last in the line, after the filter and the regulator.
GL400C10J is a single-function air lubricator from the AirTAC G series: it adds a controlled oil mist to a compressed-air line so downstream cylinders, valves and air tools receive continuous lubrication. It performs no filtration and no pressure regulation - those jobs belong to separate GF and GR units upstream. This size 400 configuration carries PT3/8 ports (3/8 in PT thread, the standard thread), is supplied without a mounting bracket (the J code), has a polycarbonate bowl, a maximum working pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and an operating range of -5 to 70 C.
You are buying a genuine AirTAC part. The GL family is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, in PT, G (BSPP) and NPT threads, with or without a mounting bracket. Because AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves rather than a single rated figure, we confirm the exact flow and the full datasheet for your model on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. A lubricator has no drain, no regulating mechanism, no gauge and no filter element, so none of those figures apply. Oil grade, bowl capacity, flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

The lubricator has the shortest code of the six G-series subfamilies — size, port, bracket, thread. There is no drain, pressure-type, gauge or filtering-grade position. Example: GL300-10JG is a 300 body, PT3/8", no bracket, G (BSPP) thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GL600 uses an aluminium-alloy oil bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Mechanical presses with air-fed clutch and counterbalance circuits need steady lubrication at the 3/8 in supply. Plumbed directly into the circuit without a bracket, this lubricator keeps those critical valves fed with oil mist.
Tool changers, clamps and chip conveyors on a machining centre run off the machine's internal 3/8 in air circuit. An inline lubricator keeps every actuator in the tool-change sequence working smoothly.
Service shops run impact wrenches and tyre machines from 3/8 in reels all day. A lubricator at the bay keeps the shop-built plumbing tidy - no bracket needed when it hangs on the drop line itself.
Size 400 serves the upper-middle of the GL range: drop to 300 or 200 for smaller lines or step to 600 for a 1 in port. This code uses PT thread, the AirTAC standard; G (BSPP) and T (NPT) versions are catalogue options. The J code means no mounting bracket is supplied - ideal where the unit is plumbed inline or panel-mounted - and a bracket can be ordered separately if you change your layout. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The oil mist travels downstream, so if any branch of the line must stay oil-free, take that branch off before the lubricator. We will confirm the recommended oil grade from the factory datasheet on request.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GL series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no single number to quote. Share your line pressure and expected air consumption and we will confirm the flow and the full datasheet for this model on request.
J indicates that no mounting bracket is supplied with this lubricator - it is intended for direct inline plumbing or panel fixing. If you later want wall or panel mounting, a bracket is available as an option when ordering.
