Stainless round barrel with a rolled, riveted cover joint - that is the construction behind the MACJ25X170-20S, an AirTAC MA-series double-acting mini cylinder with adjustable extend stroke and variable air cushion at each end. The 20 mm window lets you shorten the extend stroke to as little as 150 mm once the machine is on the floor. Push force is 245.3 N and pull 206.1 N at 0.5 MPa (35.6 psi), rising to 343.4 N push at 0.7 MPa.
Because the adjuster is a mechanical stop at the end of the extend stroke, it sets position but will not hold a load if air pressure drops - the rod still drifts on pressure loss.
