About the Airtac MACJ Stainless Steel Mini Adjustable Cylinder MACJ25X200-30S
Bore 25 and 200 mm of travel put this cylinder in the 245 N class: 245.3 N push, 206.1 N pull at 0.5 MPa, rising to 343.4 N at 0.7 MPa. The -30 code sets a 30 mm window in which the extend stroke can be shortened at the machine, handy when die or tooling changes move the work surface. A variable air cushion at each end absorbs the last of the energy across the 30-800 mm/s speed band.
The body is rolled shut around a stainless barrel - a riveted round design with no external fasteners to work loose - and the hard-chromed rod resists the scratches that eat painted rods in wet areas. Practical sizing: keep actual work near 147 N at 0.5 MPa, or about 12 kg of vertical lift with a safety margin. The built-in magnet works with CMSG, DMSG and EMSG switches out of the box.
