About the Airtac MACJ Stainless Steel Mini Adjustable Cylinder MACJ32X100-20S
The MACJ32X100-20S gives you a 100 mm double-acting stroke with a 20 mm stop-screw window, enough trim to match two or three fixture positions with one cylinder. Variable air cushioning at both ends tames end-of-stroke impact, and at 0.5 MPa the 32 mm bore pushes 402.2 N - enough to lift about 20 kg vertically with a 2:1 safety margin.
Like every MA-series cylinder it is a rolled, riveted round body: stainless barrel, hard-chrome plated carbon-steel rod, aluminium covers. Mild corrosion and washdown splash are non-events compared with painted minis. The piston magnet is fitted as standard, so CMSG, DMSG and EMSG switches mount straight on; supply is 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi) and speed 30-800 mm/s.

Size against the neighbours: bore 25 pushes 245.3 N at 0.5 MPa, bore 40 pushes 628.3 N - pick the smaller if force is spare, the larger if the load grows. Mount with the FA flange or LB foot and add an I or Y knuckle where the load pivots. Remember the 20 mm trim sets a mechanical extend stop; if the air supply fails the rod still moves, so it cannot park a suspended load on its own.
