About the Airtac MACJ Stainless Steel Mini Adjustable Cylinder MACJ32X80-10S
A tight 10 mm window makes the MACJ32X80-10S the trim-it-once model of the range: set the extend stop within the 80 mm stroke during commissioning and leave it alone. Inside is the standard MA construction - a stainless round barrel rolled onto aluminium covers, a 12 mm hard-chrome rod, and a variable cushion at both ends of a double-acting body.
At 0.5 MPa it pushes 402 N and returns with 345 N; halve the 41 kg vertical-lift equivalent and you still get a cylinder that raises about 20 kg with a 2:1 margin. That math is what makes it handy for light lift-and-set tasks run between 30 and 800 mm/s on 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi) air, proof pressure 1.5 MPa (215 psi).

The 402 N push at 0.5 MPa doubles the MACJ25's 245 N and is beaten by the MACJ40's 628 N - pick by load plus cushion needs, not bore alone. Remember the 10 mm adjuster only shortens extend travel as a stop; on air loss the rod still drifts, so it will not support a suspended load on its own. Bolt it up with the FA flange or LB foot, use I or Y knuckles where the rod sees misalignment, and the built-in magnet takes CMSG, DMSG or EMSG switches.
