A 40 mm bore round-body mini cylinder with a riveted stainless-steel barrel, hard-chrome plated 16 mm rod and aluminium covers, the MACJ40X100-20S is double-acting and lets you trim the extend stroke on site anywhere within a 20 mm window using the external stop screw, while the variable air cushion at both ends soaks up end-of-stroke shock. At 0.5 MPa it pushes with 628 N (about 64 kgf), comfortably above the 402 N of a 32 mm bore, so it handles compact clamping and pushing jobs without jumping a frame size.
Because the stainless barrel shrugs off mild corrosion and washdown, it stays reliable in damp or outdoor spots where painted-steel minis rust out.
