With a 30 mm adjustable extend window, the MACJ40X100-30S gives machine builders room to re-trim stroke length as tooling changes, on a double-acting 40 mm bore fitted with a variable air cushion at each end. The riveted construction rolls the aluminium covers and stainless block onto a precision stainless tube, sealing the body without tie rods, and the 16 mm carbon-steel rod carries 20 um of hard chrome. Push force at 0.5 MPa is 628 N, which lifts a theoretical 64 kg vertically; halve that for a 2:1 margin and you can safely hoist parts of about 32 kg.
The two-way piston seal also stores grease, so lubrication intervals stretch out in service.
