Forty millimetres of trim makes this the most flexible member of the 175 mm family: one part number covers extend stops from 175 mm down to 135 mm, so fixture variants share the same cylinder. It is double-acting with a variable air cushion at both ends, rated 628 N extend and 528 N retract at 0.5 MPa, reaching a theoretical 128 kgf at 1.0 MPa.
The 40 mm bore pushes a 16 mm hard-chrome rod through a stainless round barrel riveted to aluminium covers - a build that takes damp, dusty and washdown conditions in stride.
