The adjuster trims the extend stroke by up to 10 mm, handy for dialing in contact pressure on short clamps. A 35 mm stroke rarely needs the full bore: if your clamp holds under 402.2 N, the bore 32 MACJ is cheaper; if the jaws need more than 628.3 N at 0.5 MPa, move to the 981.3 N bore 50. Keep the 10 mm adjust window in mind when setting jaw gap - it trims the extend stroke, never lengthens it past 35 mm. Air loss will let the piston drift, so it is no substitute for a locking valve. FA flange, LB foot, and I/Y rod knuckles are all available; the magnet comes fitted as standard.
