Short, cushioned and site-trimmable, the MACJ40X50-20S gives machine builders a 50 mm double-acting stroke they can shorten by up to 20 mm during commissioning. Both ends carry a variable air cushion, so faster cycles and heavier loads stop without hammering the covers. It runs 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi) at 30-800 mm/s through a 1/8" port.
At 0.5 MPa the piston develops 628.3 N, enough to lift about 64 kg vertically in theory; halve that to roughly 32 kg for a 2:1 safety margin when matching part weights. Inside, a two-way piston seal traps grease for long life, while the riveted stainless body and hard-chrome rod stand up to damp, food-area and outdoor environments. The built-in magnet works with CMSG, DMSG and EMSG switches as standard.
