About the Airtac MACJ Stainless Steel Mini Adjustable Cylinder MACJ40X60-20S
With a 20 mm trim window, the MACJ40X60-20S lets you dial the extend stroke down on site while keeping the full 60 mm travel available when tooling changes. It is double-acting with a variable air cushion at both ends, and the rolling-packed stainless barrel shrugs off washdown and damp shop air better than painted minis. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 628 N (64 kgf class), so it handles medium clamping and lift jobs inside a 40 mm envelope.
The magnet is built in as standard, so CMSG, DMSG or EMSG switches snap on for end-of-stroke sensing without a special piston. Operating range is 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi) and speeds run 30-800 mm/s. Because the adjuster is a mechanical stop, not a lock, the rod will still drift if air is lost.
