Top of the AirTAC MA range, the MACJ63X150-10S pairs a 63 mm bore with a 150 mm stroke that can be trimmed on site: an external stop screw shortens the extend stroke by up to 10 mm, and a variable air cushion at both ends soaks up end-of-stroke shock so you can move big loads fast. At 0.5 MPa it delivers 1557.9 N of push and 1457.4 N of pull; in practice that means about 935 N of real work once you keep a sensible reserve, enough to lift roughly 79 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin.
The round body is a riveted stainless-steel barrel with a hard-chrome plated 16 mm rod and aluminium-alloy covers, so it shrugs off mild corrosion and washdown where painted minis fail. Is the Airtac MACJ Stainless Steel Mini Adjustable Cylinder MACJ63X150-10S the Right Cylinder?
Sizing from the top down: if your load needs less than about 628 N of push at 0.5 MPa, the MACJ40 in this same family does it cheaper; at 1557.9 N the 63 mm bore is the strongest MA option, and no larger bore exists in the series. Keep in mind the 10 mm adjuster is a mechanical end stop for the extend stroke, not a mid-stroke lock - if air is lost the rod still drifts, so add a valve or external stop where holding matters. Mount with the FA flange or LB foot, or fit an I or Y rod knuckle on the tooling side. The 150 mm stroke with a 16 mm rod tolerates modest side load, but guide long or offset workpieces separately.
