A 100 mm trim window makes the MACJ63X175-100S the most flexible 63 mm model in the MA line: order 175 mm and set anywhere shorter from the external stop screw, with no re-ordering when the fixture changes. It is double-acting throughout, delivering 1557.9 N forward and 1457.4 N back at 0.5 MPa, with adjustable air cushions at both ends.
The riveted stainless barrel shrugs off coolant mist and outdoor humidity that blister painted mini cylinders, and the 16 mm hard-chrome rod keeps its surface through millions of cycles. Is the Airtac MACJ Stainless Steel Mini Adjustable Cylinder MACJ63X175-100S the Right Cylinder?
There is nothing above 63 mm in the MACJ series, so look downward when sizing: the 50 mm bore (981.3 N push at 0.5 MPa) suits lighter loads. FA flange and LB foot mountings bolt straight on, and I or Y knuckles add rod-end flexibility. Remember the trim screw only shortens the extend stroke - it never adds travel past 175 mm and it will not lock the rod if air is lost, so use a locking valve or external stop where the load must hang. A 175 mm cantilevered stroke also deserves external guides under side load.
