Heavy press and clamp stations are the natural home for the MACJ63X75-30S: the 63 mm bore generates 1557.9 N forward and 1457.4 N retracting at 0.5 MPa, and 2181.0 N of push once supply reaches 0.7 MPa. As a double-acting adjustable cylinder it carries a variable air cushion at both ends, and the external stop screw sets the extend stroke anywhere inside the ordered 30 mm window without shims or spacers.
Because the cushions absorb end-of-stroke shock, you can run the 75 mm travel at the top of the 30-800 mm/s band or move heavier loads without hammering the aluminium-alloy covers. For vertical work, the 1557.9 N thrust converts to about 158 kg of lift on paper; halving that for a 2:1 margin, you can hoist roughly 79 kg with confidence. Step down to the 50 mm bore (981.3 N at 0.5 MPa) if your fixture needs less than a tonne of clamp force; nothing in the MA series out-muscles the 63 mm bore. Mount with the FA flange for face fixing or the LB foot for base mounting, and add I or Y knuckles where the load pivots. The -30 stop screw is purely an extend-side end stop: on air loss the piston can still drift, so it is no substitute for a locking valve or mid-stroke brake. Air ports are 1/4" and the 16 mm rod carries an M14x1.5 male thread.
