The AirTAC Airtac TN Double Axis Double Rod Cylinder TN25X10SH is a genuine TN twin-rod (double-rod) double-acting cylinder, 25 mm bore. Two parallel rods on one plate resist bending and twisting and let the load mount without rotating. It delivers about 490.9 N of push at 0.5 MPa. A front bumper cushions the impact and adjusts the stroke over a -5 to 0 mm range.
The TN25X10SH is a double-acting twin-rod cylinder: two rods running in parallel on one shared plate carry the load, resisting bending and twisting so the mounted part travels without rotating. At a 25mm bore it produces a theoretical push thrust of 245.4 N at 0.5 MPa, and the compact 10mm stroke fits short clamp, stopper and eject moves in tight machine layouts. An external bumper pad cushions the impact and adjusts the effective stroke over -5 to 0 mm.
This is a genuine AirTAC component in the ENTERPRISE-standard TN series, offered with PT thread ports and rated 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi) at this bore on air filtered to 40 um. Every TN model carries a magnet as standard, with switch slots around the body for position sensing, and operates from -20 to 70 C at 30-500 mm/s. Stroke-specific dimensions and sizing are confirmed from the datasheet on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC TN/TR twin-rod data. Operating pressure is set by bore (0.2 MPa minimum on the 6 and 10 mm bores). The front cover and piston are short, so avoid an over-long stroke. Overall dimensions vary per stroke and allowable side-load is published as curves — ask us and we confirm from the datasheet.
The 25mm bore is the right choice when the job needs about 245.4 N of theoretical push thrust at 0.5 MPa; the push side always exceeds the pull side. TN is the ENTERPRISE-standard twin-rod series and is supplied with PT thread ports only, so if the machine needs G or NPT threads, or TR's precise JIS-standard guide with low rod-end deflection, a lengthening sliding-support guide free of added lubrication and two groups of ports (one each side), move to the TR series at the same bore. Keep the stroke within the 25mm-bore table - this 10mm entry is fine, but over-long strokes are cautioned against by the short-cover design - and route side-load limits to us for confirmation from the published curves.
Mount a tray cradle on the plate to raise or lower small parts a short 10mm between conveyor levels; the twin rods stop the cradle tilting under an off-centre tray.
Clamp a bracket or housing against a locator during screwdriving; 245.4 N at 0.5 MPa holds the part and the plate cannot rotate loose mid-cycle.
Pop a gate blade up into the product stream to release one part at a time; the short 10mm travel and anti-twist twin rods keep the blade aligned with the flow.
The magnet is fitted as standard on the whole TN series, including the TN25X10SH - there is no non-magnetic option to choose between. Magnetic-switch slots run around the body, so switches can be set at either end or along the 10mm stroke; sensor part numbers are listed in the AirTAC catalogue, and we can help you match one.
The two parallel rods on one shared plate resist bending and twisting, so the load can be mounted directly on the plate without rotating and without adding external guide rails - useful for clamps, stoppers and short lift moves. Exact dimensions and allowable side-load curves for the TN25X10SH are confirmed from the datasheet.
