This AirTAC ACE50X160 is a double acting compact cylinder built to ISO 21287, with a 50 mm bore and a 160 mm stroke. Its hard-anodized aluminium body and S45C hard-chrome plated rod are made for repeated cycling in tight spaces, and the fixed TPU bumper at each end softens the stop without adding length.
The short ISO 21287 body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it fits into gantries and guarding where a full-length unit will not. Is the Airtac ACE Compact Cylinder ACE50X160 the Right Cylinder?
For a lighter duty, the ACE40X160 offers 628.3 N push at 0.5 MPa, while moving up to the ACE63X160 gives 1558.6 N push at the same pressure. Since this model has no -S code, there is no magnet fitted, so CMSE or DMSE sensors cannot be mounted unless you order the optional -S version. The 1/8" port and M10x1.5 female rod thread are standard for this bore, and the fixed TPU bumper means it is not for adjustable deceleration, but it handles speeds from 30 to 500 mm/s.

It has a fixed TPU bumper at both ends, not an adjustable air cushion, and it works with standard FA/FB, LB, CA/CB, CR, SDB and FTC mounts.
