About the Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP20X15SB
Double acting on a 20 mm bore, the ACP20X15SB delivers 157.1 N push and 117.8 N pull at 0.5 MPa, rising to 219.9 N push at 0.7 MPa. The 15 mm stroke keeps the whole unit inside a very short envelope: the ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into compact jigs and slide assemblies where a full-length cylinder cannot fit. Air supply is 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi), speed 30-500 mm/s, with a fixed TPU bumper at each end.
This unit carries the optional -S magnet, so CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches can be fitted for end-of-stroke signalling. The B code gives a male rod thread on the 10 mm rod, and the M5x0.8 ports suit small manifolds. Note that this model is discontinued: the current-production drop-in is ACE20X15, which matches the same bore, stroke and force class - confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping. As a rule of thumb, plan on roughly 94 N (about 9.6 kg equivalent) of usable push at 0.5 MPa rather than the full rating.

Replacing the Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP20X15SB with the ACE20X15SB
At 20 mm bore you sit between the 16 mm (100.5 N push at 0.5 MPa) and 25 mm (245.4 N push at 0.5 MPa) sizes - step down if your load is light and space is tight, step up if 157.1 N leaves too little margin. Remember a plain cylinder drifts when air is lost, so add a rod lock or pilot check valve if the load must stay put. This version already includes the -S magnet for CMSE / DMSE switches and the male rod thread; FA/FB flange, LB foot or CA/CB clevis mounting bolts to the standard face. For new projects, order ACE20X15 instead - the ACP line is discontinued.
