About the Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP20X45B
A double acting compact cylinder in the DIN-standard ACP series, the ACP20X45B pairs a 20 mm bore with a 45 mm stroke and a male rod thread (B code). At 0.5 MPa it pushes 157.1 N and pulls 117.8 N; at 0.7 MPa that rises to 219.9 N push and 164.9 N pull, with a theoretical peak of 32 kgf at 1.0 MPa. The hard-anodized aluminium body with an S45C hard-chrome rod runs on 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi) at 30-500 mm/s, with a fixed TPU bumper at each end.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into cramped fixtures and sliding guards. As a rule of thumb, plan for roughly 94 N (about 9.6 kg) of usable push at 0.5 MPa, which lifts about 16 kg vertically before you halve the margin for a 2:1 safety factor.
