About the Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP25X30S
The ACP25X30S is a double acting DIN-standard compact cylinder with a 25 mm bore and 30 mm stroke, carrying the optional -S magnet so CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches can be fitted for end-of-stroke sensing. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 245.4 N and pulls 206.2 N, rising to 343.6 N on the extend stroke at 0.7 MPa. Air supply runs 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi), speed 30-500 mm/s, with a fixed TPU bumper at each end.
Its hard-anodized aluminium body with an S45C hard-chrome rod saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which makes it a strong fit for shallow fixtures and sliding guards. For sizing, treat roughly 147 N (about 15 kg of vertical lift) as the practical working force at 0.5 MPa instead of the full rating. Note that this model is discontinued: the current-production drop-in is ACE25X30, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.

Replacing the Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP25X30S with the ACE25X30S
For a 30 mm stroke around 245 N of push, bore 25 sits well; if your load needs more, bore 32 delivers 402.1 N at 0.5 MPa, while bore 20 gives 157.1 N for lighter clamping. Keep in mind the piston drifts when air is removed, so add a rod lock or pilot check valve if the load must stay put. This unit already includes the -S magnet for CMSE / DMSE switches, and FA/FB flange, LB foot or CA/CB clevis mounts bolt to the same face. Order ACE25X30 as the current replacement.
