About the Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP25X80
The ACP25X80 is a double acting compact cylinder in the DIN-standard ACP series, with a 25 mm bore and an 80 mm stroke on a 10 mm hard-chrome S45C rod. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 245.4 N and pulls 206.2 N; at 0.7 MPa those rise to 343.6 N and 288.6 N, with a theoretical ceiling of 50.1 kgf at 1.0 MPa. Its short ISO 21287-class body saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight jigs and guarding where a full-length body will not fit.
This unit is discontinued; the current-production drop-in is the ACE25X80, which matches the same bore, stroke and force class - confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping. Practical sizing: at 0.5 MPa plan on about 147 N of usable push, which corresponds to lifting roughly 12 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. Air supply is 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi), speed 30-500 mm/s, and fixed TPU bumpers sit at both ends. The rod end carries a female M6x1.0 thread and the port is M5x0.8.

For a 245.4 N push job at 0.5 MPa, the 25 mm bore is the right pick; drop to a 20 mm bore (157.1 N) if the load is lighter, or step up to 32 mm (402.1 N) for heavier clamping. Remember the piston drifts when air is lost - add a rod lock or pilot check valve if the load must stay put.
