About the Airtac ACPD Double Rod Compact Cylinder ACPD100X110
Double acting with a rod leaving both covers, the ACPD100X110 is a DIN-standard compact cylinder: 100 mm bore, 110 mm stroke, 25 mm rod on each end and a 1/4" port. Because both strokes work on the rod-side area, output is identical in each direction - 3681.6 N at 0.5 MPa and 5154.2 N at 0.7 MPa. The hard-anodized aluminium body with an S45C hard-chrome rod runs on air filtered to 40 um at 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi), 30-500 mm/s, and a fixed TPU bumper sits at each end. This model is discontinued; the current-production successor is the ACED100X110.
In practice, plan on roughly 2209 N (about 225 kg of push) for real work at 0.5 MPa instead of the full rating, and expect it to lift about 187 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. The short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it suits wide gantries and heavy clamping fixtures where space is tight. The through-rod resists rotation and side load, and the rear rod can carry a sensor flag; FA/FB flange and LB foot mounts bolt to the standard face. Note that with no air the piston drifts - use a rod lock or pilot check where a load must be held.

Bottling line pusher gate
The through-rod keeps the pusher bar square under side load as it diverts 150 kg crates off a conveyor, and the rear rod carries a flag for a position sensor when the optional -S magnet is ordered.
Die-cart lift column
A symmetric double-rod mount lifts about 187 kg of tooling vertically with a 2:1 margin at 0.5 MPa, and the short body fits inside a shallow machine base where a full-length cylinder will not.

At 3681.6 N per side at 0.5 MPa, this 100 mm bore sits at the top of the ACPD range; the 80 mm bore below it delivers 2356.2 N, so step down if your clamp or press needs less. Stroke 110 mm is well inside the 300 mm maximum standard stroke for this bore, so no made-to-order build is required. Choose the -S code if you want the optional magnet for CMSE / DMSE switches - without it there is no magnet at all. Female M16x1.5 rod thread and PT ports are standard here; add B for a male rod thread. This unit is discontinued, so spec the ACED100X110 as the drop-in and confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.
