About the Airtac ATP Single Acting Port Compact Cylinder ATP32X15
A single acting pull cylinder with spring return, the ATP32X15 keeps the rod extended by spring and retracts it with air, needing at least 0.2 MPa to overcome the spring. The 32 mm bore delivers 296 N of pull at 0.5 MPa and 434.2 N at 0.7 MPa, both already net of the return spring. Its short ISO 21287-style body saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight fixtures and guarding where a full-length body will not fit.
Plan on about 178 N of real work at 0.5 MPa rather than the full 296 N rating, which equals roughly 15 kg of vertical lift with a 2:1 margin. The hard-anodized aluminium body carries a fixed TPU bumper at both ends, and the S45C hard-chrome rod ends in a female M8x1.25 thread. Note that no magnet is fitted on this code; the optional -S version adds one for CMSE / DMSE switches. This model is discontinued - the current-production drop-in is the ATE32X15, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.
