The AirTAC MSG32X25S is a single acting, push type JIS round-body mini cylinder with a 32 mm bore and 25 mm stroke: compressed air extends the rod and an internal return spring retracts it when air is released. Because air is only used on the work stroke, one air line and one valve port are enough, which saves air and simplifies the circuit for one-way clamping, ejecting or pressing. The 32 mm bore delivers about 281.3 N push at 0.5 MPa (442.1 N at 0.7 MPa), already net of the spring, which supports a realistic working load of roughly 170 N and a safe vertical lift of about 17 kg using the 0.6 rule of thumb.
Construction follows the JIS mini footprint: a riveted round body in SUS304 stainless with a hard-chrome (20 um) carbon-steel rod resists damp and washdown conditions, and the two-way lubricant-storing piston seal plus fixed anti-impact bumper pad protect the stroke ends. The 32 mm bore sits in the middle of the MSG range: bore 20 gives the smallest force, bore 40 the largest, so size up if your load needs more push at 0.5 MPa. Note the spring sets a 0.2 MPa (28 psi) minimum working pressure, and spring-return travel caps the standard stroke at 150 mm for this bore; if you need a two-directional or longer stroke, step to the double-acting MG instead. On air loss the spring returns the rod to its retracted rest position, so it does not hold a load.
