About the Airtac MSG Stainless Steel Mini Air Cylinder MSG32X50S
The MSG32X50S is a single acting, PUSH type JIS round-body mini cylinder: compressed air extends the 12 mm rod through a 50 mm stroke, and an internal return spring retracts it the moment air is released. Because air is only used on the work stroke, one air line and one valve port are all the circuit needs, which saves air and wiring on one-way clamping, ejecting and pressing tasks. The 32 mm bore delivers about 281.3 N of push at 0.5 MPa (442.1 N at 0.7 MPa), figures already net of the return spring, and the spring sets a 0.2 MPa (28 psi) minimum working pressure.
The S in the model code means a magnet is fitted, so CMSG, DMSG or EMSG switches can be mounted to signal rod position.
