About the Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP25X60SB
A double acting compact cylinder in the DIN-standard ACP series, the ACP25X60SB delivers 245.4 N of push force and 206.2 N of pull force at 0.5 MPa (343.6 N / 288.6 N at 0.7 MPa) from a 25 mm bore and 60 mm stroke. Its short ISO 21287-class body cuts roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight jigs, guarding and gantries where a full-length body simply will not fit. The male rod thread (B code) bolts directly to I/Y knuckles on standard fixtures.
This unit carries the optional -S magnet, so CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches can be clamped on for end-of-stroke detection without any drilling. With a 60% duty rule of thumb, plan on about 147 N of usable push at 0.5 MPa, which lifts roughly 15 kg vertically - halve that for a 2:1 margin and match real part weights against about 7.5 kg. Note the fixed TPU bumper only decelerates at the ends; if the load must stay put when air drops, add a rod lock or pilot check valve. This model is discontinued - the current-production drop-in is ACE25X60, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.
