This model is discontinued
AirTAC has phased out the MAL series. The drop-in replacement is ACE32X110 — same bore, stroke, output force, port and mounting, so it fits the same application. Simply order the ACE32X110 in place of this model. The ACE replacement is a current-production ISO 21287 compact cylinder in the same bore, stroke and force class, with a matching short body and the same mounting-accessory family, so it fits the same envelope. Confirm mounting-interface dimensions against the ACE datasheet before ordering.

The AirTAC Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP32X110 is a double acting DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø32mm bore and 110mm stroke, 1/8" air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACE32X110 (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
The ACP32X110 is a double acting DIN-standard compact cylinder with a 32 mm bore and 110 mm stroke, driving a 12 mm hard-chrome S45C rod through a female M8x1.25 thread. At 0.5 MPa it delivers 402.1 N on the push stroke and 345.6 N on the pull stroke, rising to 563 N push at 0.7 MPa. Its hard-anodized aluminium body saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is why it fits so well in tight jigs and guarded assemblies.
Plan on about 241 N of usable push force at 0.5 MPa rather than the full 402.1 N rating, which corresponds to lifting roughly 20 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. Position sensing requires the optional -S magnet code, which enables CMSE / DMSE switches; without -S there is no magnet fitted. This model is discontinued: the current-production drop-in is the ACE32X110 in the same bore, stroke and force class, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC ACP datasheet (now discontinued). The ACE32X110 (ISO 21287) carries the same bore/stroke/force class; confirm mounting-interface dimensions against the ACE datasheet before installation. Rod type: female thread (blank) or male thread (B). Thread options: PT (blank) / G.
| Pressure | Push force | Pull force |
|---|---|---|
| 0.5 MPa | 402 N | 346 N |
| 0.7 MPa | 563 N | 484 N |
| Max (@1.0 MPa) | 82 kgf | |
The ACE32X110 produces the same force from the same bore. Actual usable force is lower than theoretical; size with a margin.
| ACP | DIN compact cylinder (double-acting, discontinued). |
|---|---|
| 32 | Bore size in mm. |
| ×110 | Stroke length in mm. |
| S | Optional built-in magnet for sensor position sensing (omit for no magnet). |
| B | Rod type: B = male thread; blank = female thread. |
Replacement mapping (swap P for E): ACP→ACE, ASP→ASE, ATP→ATE, ACPD→ACED, ACPJ→ACEJ. ACP-family: ACP (double acting), ASP / ATP (single acting push / pull), ACPD (double rod), ACPJ (adjustable stroke).
With about 241 N of usable push at 0.5 MPa, the 32 mm bore clamps aluminium housings in machining fixtures where the short body must fit between pallet rails.
The 110 mm stroke sweeps cartons off a 400 mm conveyor at 30-500 mm/s, and the fixed TPU bumper softens each end stop.
Around 20 kg of vertical lift capacity with a 2:1 margin suits pressing bushings into plastic brackets on an assembly bench.
For a 110 mm stroke in the 400 N class, bore 32 sits between bore 25 (245.4 N push at 0.5 MPa) and bore 40 (628.3 N push at 0.5 MPa); step up only if your load exceeds about 241 N of real work. Remember that a plain ACP does not hold position when air is lost - add a rod lock or pilot check valve for a held load. FA/FB flange, LB foot and CA/CB clevis mounts bolt to the standard face, and the optional -S magnet pairs with CMSE / DMSE switches. Order the ACE32X110 as the current replacement and verify ISO 21287 dimensions.
Replacement checklist
At 0.5 MPa: 402.1 N push and 345.6 N pull. At 0.7 MPa: 563 N push and 483.8 N pull. The theoretical maximum is 82 kgf at 1.0 MPa. Operating range is 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi) with a 1.5 MPa (215 psi) proof pressure, and speed runs 30-500 mm/s.
Sensing needs the optional -S magnet code, which allows CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches; without -S no magnet is fitted. The ACP32X110 itself is discontinued - the ACE32X110 is the current ISO 21287 drop-in successor in the same bore, stroke and force class, so confirm mounting dimensions before ordering.
