This model is discontinued
AirTAC has phased out the MAL series. The drop-in replacement is ACE32X110B — same bore, stroke, output force, port and mounting, so it fits the same application. Simply order the ACE32X110B in place of this model. The ACE replacement is a current-production ISO 21287 compact cylinder in the same bore, stroke and force class, with a matching short body and the same mounting-accessory family, so it fits the same envelope. Confirm mounting-interface dimensions against the ACE datasheet before ordering.

The AirTAC Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP32X110B is a double acting DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø32mm bore and 110mm stroke, 1/8" air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACE32X110B (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
The ACP32X110B is a double acting compact cylinder in the AirTAC ACP DIN-standard family, with a 32 mm bore, 110 mm stroke and a male rod thread (the B code). It pushes 402.1 N and pulls 345.6 N at 0.5 MPa, rising to 563 N on extension at 0.7 MPa, with a theoretical ceiling of 82 kgf at 1.0 MPa. Its hard-anodized aluminium body and S45C hard-chrome rod run on 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi) of filtered air at 30-500 mm/s, with a fixed TPU bumper at each end. Note that no magnet is fitted: the optional -S code is what enables CMSE / DMSE switch sensing.
Because the short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, this 110 mm stroke fits shallow slides, guarding and gantry axes where a full-length body would not. In practice, plan on roughly 241 N of usable push at 0.5 MPa, which lifts about 20 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin - enough for a loaded palletizing fixture or a clamped aluminium casting. This model is discontinued; the current-production drop-in is ACE32X110, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC ACP datasheet (now discontinued). The ACE32X110B (ISO 21287) carries the same bore/stroke/force class; confirm mounting-interface dimensions against the ACE datasheet before installation. Rod type: female thread (blank) or male thread (B). Thread options: PT (blank) / G.
| Pressure | Push force | Pull force |
|---|---|---|
| 0.5 MPa | 402 N | 346 N |
| 0.7 MPa | 563 N | 484 N |
| Max (@1.0 MPa) | 82 kgf | |
The ACE32X110B produces the same force from the same bore. Actual usable force is lower than theoretical; size with a margin.
| ACP | DIN compact cylinder (double-acting, discontinued). |
|---|---|
| 32 | Bore size in mm. |
| ×110 | Stroke length in mm. |
| S | Optional built-in magnet for sensor position sensing (omit for no magnet). |
| B | Rod type: B = male thread; blank = female thread. |
Replacement mapping (swap P for E): ACP→ACE, ASP→ASE, ATP→ATE, ACPD→ACED, ACPJ→ACEJ. ACP-family: ACP (double acting), ASP / ATP (single acting push / pull), ACPD (double rod), ACPJ (adjustable stroke).
A 402.1 N push at 0.5 MPa clamps machined aluminium housings in a 3-axis fixture, and the short body fits inside the fixture base plate.
The 110 mm stroke kicks cartons off a packaging line belt at 30-500 mm/s, with the male rod thread taking an I or Y knuckle.
About 20 kg of vertical lift capacity at a 2:1 margin ejects stamped brackets from a benchtop die set.
Size against the load: the 20 mm bore delivers 157.1 N at 0.5 MPa and the 40 mm bore reaches 628.3 N, so pick the 32 mm when your work sits near the 241 N usable band. The 110 mm stroke sits inside the 200 mm standard range for this bore, so no made-to-order build is needed. Remember the rod drifts when air is lost - add a rod lock or pilot check valve if the load must stay put. FA/FB flange, LB foot and CA/CB clevis brackets bolt to the same face, and the optional -S magnet pairs with CMSE / DMSE switches. Order ACE32X110 as the current replacement.
Replacement checklist
At 0.5 MPa it pushes 402.1 N and pulls 345.6 N; at 0.7 MPa, 563 N push and 483.8 N pull; theoretical maximum is 82 kgf at 1.0 MPa. It is double acting with a 32 mm bore, 110 mm stroke, 12 mm rod, 1/8" PT port, 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi) working pressure, 1.5 MPa (215 psi) proof pressure, -20 to +70 C range and 30-500 mm/s speed.
No - the ACP family is discontinued. The current-production drop-in is ACE32X110, the ISO 21287 successor in the same bore, stroke and force class. Because the ACP was DIN-standard, confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions and the FA/FB, LB or CA/CB bracket fit before swapping. If you need position sensing, order the -S version so CMSE / DMSE switches can be used.
