About the Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP32X225SB
The ACP32X225SB is a double acting DIN-standard compact cylinder with a 32 mm bore and a 225 mm stroke, male rod thread and 1/8" port. Its short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight jigs and guarding where a full-length body cannot. This version carries the optional -S magnet, so CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches can be fitted for position feedback.
At 0.5 MPa it pushes 402.1 N and pulls 345.6 N; at 0.7 MPa that rises to 563 N push and 483.8 N pull, with a theoretical 82 kgf at 1.0 MPa. As a working rule, plan on roughly 241 N of usable force at 0.5 MPa, which corresponds to lifting about 20 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. The 225 mm stroke exceeds the 200 mm standard maximum for bore 32, so it is made to order. The ACP family is discontinued; the current-production drop-in is ACE32X225, and you should confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.
