About the Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP32X250
A double acting compact cylinder built to the DIN-standard ACP pattern, the ACP32X250 pairs a 32 mm bore with a long 250 mm stroke while keeping the short ISO 21287-class body that saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 402.1 N and pulls 345.6 N, rising to 563 N on extension at 0.7 MPa, with a theoretical peak of 82 kgf at 1.0 MPa. The 250 mm stroke is longer than the 200 mm standard limit for this bore, so it is a made-to-order build.
The hard-anodized aluminium body carries threaded aluminium covers, an S45C hard-chrome rod with a female M8x1.25 thread, and a fixed TPU bumper at each end. Plan on about 241 N of usable pushing force at 0.5 MPa (roughly 60% of the rating), which vertically lifts about 20 kg with a 2:1 margin. Note this model is discontinued: the current-production drop-in is the ACE32X250, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping. A plain ACP also drifts when air is lost, so add a rod lock or pilot check valve for held loads.

Replacing the Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP32X250 with the ACE32X250
For a 250 mm stroke at this force level, the 32 mm bore delivers 402.1 N at 0.5 MPa; step down to a 25 mm bore (245.4 N) for lighter clamping or up to a 40 mm bore (628.3 N) if the load grows. Because 250 mm exceeds the 200 mm standard stroke for bore 32, order it as a non-standard made-to-order length. Mounting options include FA/FB flange and LB foot brackets, and the optional -S magnet code enables CMSE / DMSE switches; without -S there is no magnet. This model is discontinued, so specify the ACE32X250 as the current replacement.
