About the Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP32X25S
Double acting and DIN-standard compact, the ACP32X25S moves its 32 mm bore piston with air in both directions and carries the optional -S magnet, so CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches can be mounted for end-of-stroke sensing. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 402.1 N and pulls 345.6 N; at 0.7 MPa those figures rise to 563 N and 483.8 N, with a theoretical peak of 82 kgf at 1.0 MPa. Operating range is 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi), speed 30-500 mm/s, and the fixed TPU bumper at each end simply decelerates the piston.
The short ISO 21287-class body cuts roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is why it suits tight jigs and guarding. In practice, plan for about 241 N of real work at 0.5 MPa (roughly 60% of the rating), which lifts about 24 kg vertically - halve that for a 2:1 margin and match part weights accordingly. Note this model is discontinued: the current drop-in is ACE32X25 in the same bore, stroke and force class, so confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.
