About the Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP32X275
The ACP32X275 is a double acting DIN-standard compact cylinder with a 32 mm bore and a 275 mm stroke, driving a 12 mm hard-chromed S45C rod through a female M8x1.25 thread. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 402.1 N and pulls 345.6 N; at 0.7 MPa those figures rise to 563 N and 483.8 N, with a theoretical peak of 82 kgf at 1.0 MPa. The short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight gantries and guarding where a full-length body cannot.
Because the 275 mm stroke exceeds the 200 mm standard limit for a 32 mm bore, this unit is made to order. Plan on roughly 240 N of usable push at 0.5 MPa, which corresponds to lifting about 24 kg vertically, or about 12 kg with a 2:1 margin. The fixed TPU bumpers at each end only soften end-of-stroke contact; they never hold a load, so add a rod lock or pilot check valve if the rod must stay put when air is lost. This model is discontinued - the current-production drop-in is the ACE32X275, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.
