About the Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP32X300B
The ACP32X300B is a double acting DIN-standard compact cylinder with a 32 mm bore and a made-to-order 300 mm stroke, which exceeds the 200 mm standard limit for this bore. It delivers 402.1 N push and 345.6 N pull at 0.5 MPa (563 N at 0.7 MPa), and the male rod thread from the B code suits tooling that clamps onto the rod. The short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it fits deep slots and sliding guards where a full-length body cannot reach.
Note this unit ships without a magnet: the optional -S code is what adds the magnet for CMSE / DMSE switches, so position feedback is only possible if you order it. The fixed TPU bumper at each end simply decelerates the piston and never holds a load when air drops, so add a rod lock or pilot check valve for a held position. Plan on roughly 241 N of usable push at 0.5 MPa, which lifts about 20 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. This model is discontinued; the current drop-in is ACE32X300, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.

Replacing the Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP32X300B with the ACE32X300B
At 32 mm bore you get 402.1 N push at 0.5 MPa; step down to a 25 mm bore (245.4 N) for lighter clamping or up to a 40 mm bore (628.3 N) if the load is heavier. The 300 mm stroke is a non-standard, made-to-order length for this bore, so expect factory build time. Choose the B male rod thread for knuckles and fixtures, PT ports for standard air prep, and FA/FB flange, LB foot or CA/CB clevis mounts to match the frame. If you need sensors, order the -S magnet variant instead. For new projects, spec the ACE32X300 as the current-production replacement and verify ISO 21287 mounting dimensions.
