Is the Airtac GAC F.R.L. Unit GAC20008SNW the Right Air-Prep Unit?
Choose this 1/4in model when a single actuator or small jig requires very clean air, trading the standard 40 um screen for the 5 um element at the cost of more frequent element service. If the machine may ever need pressure above 0.4 MPa, this standard type is the correct choice over the lower-pressure variant. Note that oil mist is added downstream, so choose a filter-regulator instead if the line must stay oil-free. The three units are separately orderable as GAF200-08, GAR200-08 and GAL200-08. Stepping up to the GAC300 roughly doubles the flow envelope from 1750 to 3000 L/min at 0.7 MPa inlet. Because max supply is 1.0 MPa and the standard type regulates to 0.9 MPa, there is only about 0.1 MPa of headroom above the top setting.
