The AirTAC MSG20X50S is a JIS-standard round-body mini cylinder built as a single acting PUSH unit: compressed air extends the 8 mm rod, and an internal return spring retracts it the moment air is released. With a 20 mm bore and 50 mm stroke it delivers a net push force of about 109.9 N at 0.5 MPa and 172.7 N at 0.7 MPa, already after the spring is overcome, so the figures you see are what reaches the workpiece. Because air is only supplied on the work stroke, the circuit needs a single air line and one valve port, which saves air and simplifies plumbing for one-way clamp, eject and press tasks. Spring-return clamp
Air pushes the 109.9 N (at 0.5 MPa) rod forward to clamp a small workpiece; releasing the valve lets the spring retract the clamp so the part can be unloaded without a second air line.
