The MSG20X75S is a single acting, push type JIS round-body mini cylinder with a 20 mm bore and 75 mm stroke: compressed air extends the rod and an internal return spring retracts it when air is released. Because air is only used on the work stroke, one air line and one valve port are enough, which saves air and simplifies the circuit for one-way clamping, ejecting or pressing. The 20 mm bore delivers about 109.9 N push at 0.5 MPa (172.7 N at 0.7 MPa), already net of the return spring, so a realistic working load is roughly 66 N, or about 5 kg for a safe vertical lift. Operating pressure is 0.2 to 1.0 MPa (28-145 psi) with the spring setting the 0.2 MPa floor, and speed spans 50 to 800 mm/s.

Spring-return clamping

Choose the MSG20X75S when you need a compact one-way push of about 110 N at 0.5 MPa (172.7 N at 0.7 MPa) over a 75 mm stroke and a spring return is acceptable. It is the smallest bore in the MSG family (20/25/32/40); if you need more push, move to MSG25, MSG32 or MSG40. Remember the 0.2 MPa (28 psi) minimum working pressure set by the return spring, and that on air loss the spring retracts the rod rather than holding a load. Strokes above 150 mm or two-way work call for the double-acting MG instead. Mount with LB foot, FA flange, CB clevis or SDB pivot brackets plus I or Y knuckles; the fitted magnet supports CMSG/DMSG/EMSG switches. Port is 1/8" with PT thread as standard.
