The AirTAC GAR series is a dedicated air pressure regulator. It takes a higher, varying supply pressure and holds a lower, steady downstream pressure that an operator sets on a knob and reads on a gauge. It regulates pressure only; it does not filter, clean or dry the air.
The series spans five stocked body sizes: GAR200 (1/8 and 1/4 inch ports, 170 g), GAR300 (1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 inch ports, 300 g), GAR400 (3/8 and 1/2 inch ports, 570 g), GAR500 (3/4 inch port, 580 g) and GAR600 (3/4 and 1 inch ports, 1390 g). The maximum operating pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) with a proof pressure of 1.5 MPa (215 psi). Operating temperature ranges from -20 to +70 C.
A balanced adjustment mechanism lets the regulator hold its setting as supply pressure varies. A pressed-in self-locking mechanism stops the set pressure drifting from outside interference. The circular pressure gauge includes a clip and magnifier that saves installation space. Buyers can choose standard type S (0.05-0.9 MPa) or low pressure type L (0.05-0.4 MPa) for finer resolution over a low band. Type L is available on GAR200 through GAR500 only; GAR600 is type S only.

How to Choose the Right Model
Size the body to the air demand of the machine, not to the pipe you happen to have. Port sizes scale with the body from 1/8 inch on the GAR200 up to 1 inch on the GAR600. Pick the type by the regulated range: type S covers 0.05-0.9 MPa, while type L covers only 0.05-0.4 MPa. Type L cannot reach a standard 0.5-0.6 MPa setpoint, so it is the wrong part for those machines. Match the thread standard (PT, G or NPT), which also sets the gauge scale the crew reads.
A regulator does not clean the air. Fit a filter upstream so dirt and water do not foul the regulator seat. If the line needs clean air in one body, use the matching AirTAC GAFR filter-regulator; if it needs oil mist too, use an AirTAC GAFC or GAC. Confirm these 5 points before ordering: body size against air demand, port size and thread (PT/G/NPT), type (S or L), gauge or no gauge (N), and bracket kept or removed (J) plus the reflux (K) option.
