The TACED series is the non-rotating double-rod version of the ISO 21287 ACE compact cylinder. Twin guide rods on a yoke stop tooling rotation and carry side load, while a working rod exits both covers for equal force in both directions. The hard-anodized aluminium body keeps the envelope short, and S45C hard-chrome rods resist wear.
Available in 10 bores from 12 to 100 mm with ports from M5x0.8 to 1/4 inch. Force at 0.5 MPa spans about 42 N (bore 12) to 3770 N (bore 100), equal in push and pull. Fixed TPU bumpers cushion both ends, and an optional magnet (-S) enables CMSE/DMSE switches. Operating pressure is 0.15-1.0 MPa, temperature -20 to +80 C, and air should be filtered to 40 um.

Pick-and-Place Gantry
Use TACED on a gantry Z-axis to keep a gripper from rotating while carrying off-center loads. The twin guide rods maintain orientation without extra linear rails.

On a conveyor diverter, the double rod provides equal push and pull force, letting the same cylinder move a stop in both directions with symmetric mounting.

How to Choose the Right Model
Choose the bore based on the required force: from about 42 N at 12 mm to 3770 N at 100 mm (at 0.5 MPa). Since force is equal in both directions, size for the load in either direction. For side load or anti-rotation needs, TACED is the right choice; for a plain double-rod without guide, consider ACED; for non-rotating single-rod, TACE.
Confirm these five points: bore (12-100 mm), stroke (confirm from datasheet), port thread (M5x0.8 for 12-25, 1/8 inch for 32-63, 1/4 inch for 80-100), mounting style, and whether you need the -S magnet for sensor mounting. TACED is not a tie-rod or ISO 15552 cylinder; it follows ISO 21287 compact dimensions.
