AirTAC Pneumatics
The AirTAC GF series is the economy G-series air filter, built in four bodies from 1/8 to 1 inch ports to strip condensed water and solid particles from compressed air before it reaches your valves and cylinders.
inventory_2267 models availableGF is the basic line of AirTAC's G-series air preparation family. It is a filtration-only unit: compressed air spins through the bowl, condensed water and solid particles drop out to the bottom, and clean air leaves the outlet. There is no pressure knob, no gauge and no lubricator - the GF does one job and keeps it simple.
The range covers four bodies. GF200 takes 1/8 and 1/4 inch ports, GF300 takes 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 inch, GF400 takes 3/8 and 1/2 inch, and GF600 takes 3/4 and 1 inch - a stocked span from 1/8 to 1 inch. Every body shares the same operating spec: 0.15-1.0 MPa inlet pressure with the automatic or differential-pressure drain (0-0.9 MPa on the manual-drain version), -5 to +70 C fluid temperature, and a 40 um standard element or a 5 um element with the W code. GF200, GF300 and GF400 use polycarbonate bowls; GF600 is the only body with an aluminium-alloy bowl.
Each part number encodes the whole configuration, and the GF code is the shortest in the G series - no regulator section, no gauge, no reflux positions. The order code GF{body}-{port} is followed by drain type (blank = differential-pressure, A = automatic, M = manual), bracket (blank = bracket included, J = none), element (blank = 40 um, W = 5 um) and thread (blank = PT, G = G, T = NPT). A B52- prefix marks the copper-free line. For pressure control, pair the GF with a GR regulator downstream or step up to the GFR filter regulator; the higher-end equivalent in the G family is the GAF series.

A GF600 on the 3/4 or 1 inch main header catches compressor condensate and pipe-scale before it reaches branch regulators, with the aluminium-alloy bowl standing up to daily plant service.
A GF300 with the 5 um W element ahead of 3V/4V solenoid valves keeps fine particles out of the pilot seats that stop carton sealers and case packers mid-shift.
The automatic-drain A version discharges collected water on its own, so overnight or weekend-running blow-off and spray stations do not accumulate a bowl of condensate between operator visits.
A compact GF200 on 1/8 or 1/4 inch point-of-use drops protects clamps and small actuators, with the included mounting bracket fixing the filter inside the machine's control cabinet.
Pick the body from your air demand and the port from your piping: GF200 for 1/8-1/4 inch point-of-use lines, GF300 for 1/4-1/2 inch machine supplies, GF400 for 3/8-1/2 inch drops, GF600 for 3/4-1 inch main lines. Then set the drain: differential-pressure (the default) discharges with no power or operator, automatic (A) dumps condensate unattended, and manual (M) is drained by an operator on a 0-0.9 MPa inlet band. Choose the W code only where the downstream device genuinely needs 5 um particle removal; the standard 40 um element is right for general line protection.
Know when to step out of the series: the GF never sets pressure, so add a GR regulator downstream or use the GFR filter regulator where a controlled outlet pressure is needed, and use the GC (3-unit F.R.L.) or GFC (2-unit) where lubrication is also required. If you want the higher-grade line rather than the economy one, move to the GAF series. Before ordering, confirm the five-point match: body size vs air demand, port and thread (PT, G or NPT), drain type, element grade (40 or 5 um), and bracket or no bracket (J).
Quick checklist
Four bodies: GF200 (1/8 and 1/4 inch ports), GF300 (1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 inch), GF400 (3/8 and 1/2 inch) and GF600 (3/4 and 1 inch) - a stocked span of 1/8 to 1 inch. All bodies share 0.15-1.0 MPa inlet pressure with the automatic or differential-pressure drain, 0-0.9 MPa with the manual drain, and -5 to +70 C operation that must not freeze.
Drain: the blank code is a differential-pressure drain with no power needed, A is automatic discharge, and M is a manual drain whose version accepts 0-0.9 MPa inlet. Element: the standard element is 40 um; adding W gives 5 um for finer particle removal. Bowls: GF200/300/400 use polycarbonate, while GF600 alone uses an aluminium-alloy bowl. A mounting bracket is included unless you order the J code, and threads come in PT (blank), G or NPT (T).
The GF is a filter only: it has no knob, no gauge and no adjustment range. Follow it with an AirTAC GR regulator for pressure control, or specify the GFR filter regulator to combine both functions in one unit. Add the GC (3-unit F.R.L.) or GFC (2-unit) when lubrication is also required, and choose the GAF series if you want the higher-end line instead of the economy G line.
