The AirTAC AirTAC GF200-08 Filter (GF20008W) is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 5 µm element, with PT1/4" ports and a differential-pressure drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
GF20008W is an AirTAC G-series air filter in size 200 with a 1/4 in PT port, removing water and particulate from compressed air only - no regulation, no lubrication. With no drain letter in the code, this unit carries the default differential-pressure drain, and the W suffix selects the finer 5 um filter element. The mounting bracket is included and the size 200 bowl is polycarbonate (PC). Maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi); working temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The G-series filter family spans size 200 to 600 with a port and flow step at each size, and is available with differential-pressure (default), automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um elements, G (BSPP) or NPT threads as catalogue options, and with or without a bracket. Flow and datasheet figures are confirmed on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Fit on the outlet side of a rotary-screw compressor's dryer takeoff so the 5 um element catches desiccant dust and condensed water on the main 1/4 in branch, with the differential drain handling condensate as flow passes.
Install ahead of the diverter and stopper cylinders on a parcel sortation conveyor, where continuous cycling and the automatic action of the differential drain suit an unattended 24/7 line.
Use on the clean-air branch feeding air-operated sensors, jet nozzles and indicating gauges in a process line, where the 5 um grade protects small orifices from particulate carryover.
Choose the size digits (200/300/400/600) to set the port and flow path; size 200 gives this 1/4 in PT port. Drain options are the differential-pressure type fitted here (default), a fully automatic drain, or a manual drain - the latter two are separate order codes. The W element filters to 5 um; drop the W for the standard 40 um grade if coarser filtration is acceptable. PT is the standard thread, with G (BSPP) and NPT available as options, and the bracket is included in this code. Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure - ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
We do not quote a single rated flow because AirTAC publishes G-series flow as curves, not one number. Provide your line pressure and demand and we will confirm the matching datasheet figures on request so the size 200, 1/4 in unit can be checked against your duty.
It is the default drain type for G-series filters: condensate is discharged automatically as the flow differential across the element builds, with no manual attention. It differs from the manual-drain code (hand-release, 0.9 MPa inlet limit) and the automatic-drain code, both orderable separately in the same size 200, 5 um configuration.
