The AirTAC AirTAC GF200-08 Filter (GF20008MW) is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 5 µm element, with PT1/4" ports and a manual drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
GF20008MW is an AirTAC G-series air filter in size 200 with a 1/4 in PT port, filtering water and particulate from compressed air only - no regulation, no lubrication. The M code selects the manual drain (condensate released by hand, inlet 0-0.9 MPa) and the W code the finer 5 um element; the bracket is included in this configuration. The size 200 bowl is polycarbonate (PC). Working temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The G-series filter family runs from size 200 to 600 with progressively larger ports and flow, offered with differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um elements, G (BSPP) or NPT threads as catalogue options, and with or without a mounting bracket. Flow and datasheet figures are confirmed on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GF200 | G-series air filter, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Bracket-mount directly beside a pneumatic valve manifold on a machine frame so the 5 um element intercepts water and pipe debris before they reach the spools; the bowl is drained manually during maintenance rounds.
Install on the shop-air feed to a laser cutting head's pneumatic circuit, keeping moisture and fine particles out of the optics-purge and assist lines where a 1/4 in connection is typical.
Fit at a maintenance bench supplying impact wrenches, air ratchets and blow guns, with the included bracket fixing the filter to the bench frame and the manual drain opened at the end of each shift.
Step the size digits (200/300/400/600) to match the port and flow your circuit needs; size 200 here is a 1/4 in PT port. This model pairs the manual drain (hand-release of condensate, 0-0.9 MPa inlet) with the 5 um W element - if your maintenance routine cannot include regular draining, move to the automatic or default differential-pressure drain code instead. If 40 um filtration is enough, drop the W. PT is the standard thread; G (BSPP) and NPT are orderable thread options. The bracket is included, so the unit can be fixed beside a manifold or panel. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating - ask us to confirm sizing before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
Yes, on request. AirTAC publishes G-series flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not state a number here. Share your flow and pressure conditions and we will confirm the relevant datasheet data before you order.
No. GF is a filter only - it removes water and particulate and performs no pressure regulation and no lubrication. If your circuit also needs a set pressure downstream, pair it with a GR regulator or move to a GFR filter-regulator in the same size 200, 1/4 in port family.
