The AirTAC AirTAC GF300-08 Filter (GF30008AT) is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with PT1/4" ports and a automatic drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
The AirTAC GF30008AT is a G-series compressed-air filter for water and particulate removal only - it contains no regulator and no lubricator. This size 300 unit has a 1/4 in NPT port (the T suffix selects NPT instead of the PT standard), a 40 um standard element, an automatic drain and a mounting bracket, with the polycarbonate bowl standard at this size. Working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) across a -5 to 70 C range.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GF series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with drain choices of differential-pressure, automatic or manual, a 5 um W element option, bracket included or omitted, and PT or G (BSPP) threads besides the NPT on this code. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so we confirm datasheet and flow figures for your application on request.
| Model | AirTAC GF300-08 Filter (GF30008AT) |

| Series | GF300 air filter |
| Port size | PT1/4" (NPT thread) |
| Filtering grade | 40 µm |
| Drain type | Automatic drain |
| Bracket | Mounting bracket included |
| Fluid | Compressed air |
|---|---|
| Inlet pressure | 0.15 - 1.0 MPa (22 - 145 psi) |

| Temperature range | -5 to +70 °C (unfreeze) |
| Bowl material | PC |
| Feature | Low pressure loss |
Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GF300 | G-series air filter, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed on maintenance-shop air drops with existing NPT piping, it filters the shop compressor supply feeding impact tools and blowguns, with the automatic drain clearing condensate through the working day.
Mounted in the air supply to conveyor gate and pusher cylinders on a bottling line, it removes water and debris before the valves, and the automatic drain handles bowl condensate without stopping the line.
Fitted upstream of a pneumatic chain hoist in a vehicle service bay, it conditions the NPT-piped shop air feeding the hoist motor, keeping moisture out of the motor during repeated lift cycles.
The T suffix makes this the NPT-threaded build of the size 300 filter, convenient where North American piping is already in place; the same body is orderable with PT or G (BSPP) threads. Size 300 with a 1/4 in port is the mid step of the family - check against your pipe size and air demand, and step to 400 or 600 for heavier lines. Drain is automatic here; manual and differential-pressure variants exist.
Element grade is the standard 40 um; add the W suffix for the 5 um grade where finer filtration is needed. A mounting bracket is included on this code. Flow is published only as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing against the application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC publishes filter flow only as performance curves, not as a single rated-flow figure, so we do not state a number here. Give us your line pressure and air consumption and we will confirm the flow data from the datasheet for this model on request.
The T suffix changes the port thread to NPT instead of the PT standard, so this unit screws straight into North American 1/4 in pipework; the filtration function, size 300 body, 40 um element and automatic drain are unchanged. PT and G (BSPP) threaded versions, other drain types, and the 5 um W element are all orderable options.
